Mobile Streams enters partnership with Bitso
Mobile Streams announced an exclusive business partnership with Bitso - a Latin American financial services company - on Thursday.
The AIM-traded firm said the collaboration was intended to enhance the offering of sports non-fungible tokens (NFTs) through various strategies, including user campaigns, joint collections, and exclusive promotions for the Bitso community.
It said the alliance between the two companies would capitalise on the growing popularity of NFTs, which are unique digital assets stored on blockchain networks.
Bitso, with its extensive customer base of over seven million users, was “well-positioned” to leverage the partnership to further its reach and engagement within the Latin American cryptocurrency market, the board explained.
“We are delighted to announce this partnership with Bitso and proud to be working with the leading crypto company in Latin America to make our mission of connecting fans with the experiences and content they are most passionate about come true,” said chief executive officer Mark Epstein.
“We are confident that the market reach and Bitso technology, added to our NFT licenses and sports products, will make a very powerful combination for fans in Mexico.”
At 0920 BST, shares in Mobile Streams were down 4.8% at 0.1p.
