Vast Resources updated the market on progress at its Baita Plai polymetallic mine in Romania on Monday, confirming that the third shipment of equipment, including an underground rock loader and mining jackhammers, arrived at Constanta Port in Romania on 1 June.

The AIM-traded firm said that, after clearing customs on 5 June, the container arrived at Baita Plai over the weekend.

It said the shipping schedules of the remaining containers of equipment, as it had previously announced, remained on track.

On 13 July it was expecting the fourth and fifth shipments, which include the remaining underground loaders, pneumatic loaders, ceramic filters and hydro cyclones.

Following that, on 17 July, the sixth shipment would include the slurry pumps.

“The company will keep the market updated on the arrival of the remaining equipment and will continue to post footage of the new equipment being installed ahead of the commencement of production in July,” the board said in its statement.

At 1039 BST, shares in Vast Resources were up 14.16% at 0.25p.
