Morses Club names Andrew Hayward as CFO designate
Doorstep lender Morses Club has named Andrew Hayward is its next chief financial officer, subject to regulatory approval.
Morses revealed on Wednesday morning that Hayward will join the AIM-listed group on 1 July, taking over from current CFO Andy Thomson who'd headed up the company's finance team since its IPO back in 2016.
Hayward will move over to Morses from eServGlobal, the ASX and AIM-listed digital financial transactions technology company, where he has been CFO for more than two and a half years.
Prior to that, Hayward held the role of head of finance for Hurricane Energy for almost five years and spent six years at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in various roles across its audit and corporate finance units.
Chief executive Paul Smith said: "We are delighted to welcome Andy to Morses Club.
"Andy has extensive experience in the mobile technology and digital payments space and will make a significant contribution to the delivery of our strategic plans as we continue to diversify our product offering to serve a broader range of customers across the non-standard credit space."
As of 0845 BST, Morses shares had crept forward 0.16% to 155.25p.
