Mountfield Group announced on Tuesday that its subsidiary CAF had been awarded a contract worth £1.5m to supply and install flooring to the second phase of a three-phase project for the wholesale refurbishment of a “City HQ building”.

The AIM-traded company said the work was due to begin in October, and be completed by September 2018.

It said CAF had recently completed the flooring contract for the initial phase of the contract that had a value of £1.2m, and on which work began in late February, as announced in the group's trading statement that was issued on 7 March.

The overall three-phase, three year project had a value of £3.7m, and the final phase was due to be announced in 2018.

“This is excellent news,” said group CEO Andy Collins.

“The initial phase of the works has been completed in line with our client's very high expectations as we work towards a successful handover in the next few weeks.

“We are delighted that we have secured the next phase of the works and pleased that our client has confirmed its satisfaction with our work and performance in this way.”
