MTI Wireless Edge wins irrigation management contract
Flat panel antenna maker MTI Wireless Edge has won a $300,000 irrigation management solution contract.
The AIM-listed company’s subsidiary, Mottech Water Solutions, won the contract from a municipality in China to provide landscape and turf irrigation solutions to be supplied in the next six months.
This is the second contract that Mottech has received from a municipality in China in the last 12 months, which have a combined value of about $700,000.
Mottech general manager Dudi Shani said: "We hope that this will lead to other municipalities engaging Mottech for irrigation solutions, as I believe that the Chinese landscape market is becoming ready for our solutions and represents a large growth potential for Mottech".
Shares in MTI Wireless Edge up 3.89% to 23.38p at 0844 BST.
