MTI Wireless wins contract with unnamed Israeli firm

Communications group MTI Wireless Edge on Monday said it had won a contract to supply an unnamed Israeli company with hi-power microwave terminations.

The deal, which included an initial order of $1m, will see MTI supply the client over the next 16 months.

General manager Aid Peleg said: "We are delighted with this agreement because it provides a lot of potential, including scope for the order size to more than double in the next two years, as our customer has designed its system around MTI's component.

As of 0835 BST, MTI Wireless shares had climbed 5.22% to 31.04p.
