Myanmar-language social media, entertainment and payments platform MySQUAR launched a new “hardcore” game called ‘Age of Glory’ on Tuesday, in which an evil clan has invaded a peaceful kingdom with players “uniting” to reclaim their land.
The AIM-traded firm described Age of Glory as a 3D ‘massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) targeted at the Myanmar market, where players could choose from three classes of characters with an “endless array” of customisation options.
It said the game features 3D graphics with real-time visual effects, the ability to create guilds of up to 120 players and ‘player-versus-player’ battle arenas for both individuals and guilds.
Age of Glory was anticipated to benefit from the existing user base of other MySQUAR games, and would follow the ‘freemium’ model, with free play up to a certain level, after which players would need to pay to customise their character, buy weapons or buy companions to help their character in battle.
The game was developed for both Android and iOS devices.
“MySQUAR is pleased to launch our second MMORPG game in the Myanmar market with spectacular 3D graphics,” said MySQUAR CEO Eric Schaer.
“The game is entirely interactive and can support thousands of players in battle at once.
“The company remains focused on releasing new games periodically to build monetisation.”
