SEEEN delivers strong YTD performance
Media and technology platform provider Seeen said on Thursday that it had delivered a strong performance so far in 2021, with the group securing two major contract wins.
For the nine months ended 30 September, Seeen revenues were up 7.6% year-on-year at $7.0m, with revenue from its multichannel video network up 6.1% to $6.9m and revenue per thousand views up 40% to $1.20 per view despite views dropping 24% to 10.1bn.
The AIM-listed group also stated that adjusted pre-tax profits continued to be in line with market expectations.
Seeen highlighted that its strong third-quarter performance was driven by the signing of a commercial agreement with an unnamed major global publisher and the inking of a deal with its first professional sports club that will see the company add content and viewers to its multichannel video network.
Chairman Patrick DeSouza said: "We are delighted to gain additional traction with business-to-business sales for our AI offerings. Recent wins with large publishers and a professional sports team enable us to add referenceable customers in order to accelerate further wins from our sales pipeline."
As of 1350 GMT, Seeen shares were up 5.19% at 28.40p.
