Cyber security firm Osirium Technologies’ has expanded into the Asia Pacific with its privileged access management product now available in the region.

The company, which floated on AIM last April, has appointed two business developers in the Asia Pacific as part of its commitment to the region to recruit distributors and associated business partners.

Chief executive David Guyatt said: "Following recent marketing, feedback from target clients highlights that existing privileged access management products are cumbersome to deploy and expensive to run. Identifying agile vendors is extremely important as these organisations find it difficult to stay ahead of ever evolving security requirements.”

He said that the company was “significantly ahead of the curve with our technology and confident that we can have a positive impact in the Asia Pacific region”.

Separately, the company announced that it gained Manchester-based Distology as distribution partner in the UK. Distology has trading relationships with 120 resellers, many of which are among the largest 150 security resellers in the country.

Guyatt added: “The partnership with Distology will help us build a robust UK channel network and increase our current routes to market substantially."

Shares in Osirium Technologies were up 1.43% to 106.50p at 0935 GMT.
