Osirium Technologies expands into Germany

AIM-listed cyber security software provider Osirium Technologies has announced plans to expand into Germany.

Riko Schick has been appointed as business development director for the DACH (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) region. He has over 20 years of experience working with software vendors such as Barracuda, Cybersecurity and Eplan and will be responsible for building and supporting a network of partners throughout the region.

Chief executive officer David Guyatt said: "The decision to enter the German market is part of our longer-term global growth strategy centered around developing a robust network of channel partners, which we have started building in the UK, Middle East and North Africa and Asia Pacific. Riko has strong connections with both distributors and resellers and is well placed to drive forward our German network."

At 1033 BST, the shares were up 2.1% to 97p.
