Osirium Technologies strikes agreement with Progress Distribution
Cyber-security software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider Osirium Technologies announced an agreement with Progress Distribution on Wednesday.
The AIM-traded firm reported that, since launching its channel programme in early 2017, it had made “significant progress” recruiting partners in a number of key territories.
It said Progress Distribution had an experienced leadership team, which had all worked in vendor, distribution and reseller environments.
They were bringing “significant” value through consultancy services to every opportunity, the Osirium board explained, and were focused on addressing the “significant challenges” that a chief information security officer faces every day.
“The market response to Osirium, and its approach to privileged access management (PAM), has been very positive,” said Osirium sales director Tim Ager.
“We have strong partners in place, and will of course continue conversations with others as the group looks for links to strengthen the chain further.”
Ager said the company’s accreditation process was “robust”, and supported at the highest level, which meant true partnerships were established.
“Progress Distribution has an excellent reputation in the UK and we look forward to working alongside the team to build further momentum here.”
John Quinn, founder and CEO of Progress Distribution, said the cyber security space was moving quickly, so his company was taking a particular interest in products that were essentially 'future-proofed.'
“Osirium has changed the way organisations look at protecting privileged accounts, separating users from passwords, and has built an impressive customer base as a result,” Quinn explained.
“We are delighted to be adding this PAM technology to our portfolio.”
