PeerTV set-top box chief Wes Wilcox resigns

PeerTV Plc announced the resignation of Wes Wilcox, the chief executive of its set-top box business PeerTV Limited.

The company, which provides technology solutions for the television set-top box industry, said Wilcox has given a number of reasons which, taken together, have led him to resign.

These include personal reasons and the difficulties of financing and managing the proposed turnaround of the set-top box business and the personal demands that this would make.

Chairman Etain Yanuv said he was sorry Wilcox has found it necessary to resign “at this critical point in the company’s development”.

At 0955 GMT, PeerTV shares were down 4% at 0.03p.
