Pelatro implements flagship software with large telecoms network

Telecoms customer engagement software company Pelatro announced on Tuesday that the final implementation of its flagship product, the ‘mViva’ contextual campaign management solution, has been completed in the network of its largest customer.
The AIM-traded firm won the five-year managed services contract at the end of 2019 and, due to the size and complexity of the customer's network, the implementation had been in progress throughout 2020, with various geographies going live in stages.
It said the network had more than 400 million subscribers, with the success achieved at such scale establishing the “unique architecture” and “advanced technologies” employed by Pelatro in the product.
Pelatro explained that its technology powered engines that were able to “consume, analyse and process” billions of data records in real time.
“We are absolutely thrilled with the smooth and successful implementation of our product in this very large network,” said managing director and chief executive officer Subash Menon.
“With regard to scalability, this is the ultimate benchmark in the telecom world.
“Another notable aspect of this implementation is that it was undertaken during the pandemic and was executed remotely without even a single day of on-site activity.”
At 1103 GMT, shares in Pelatro were up 5.82% at 38.62p.
