Investors in the master franchise for Domino’s Pizza in Poland, DP Poland, were gathering on Friday morning for the company’s annual general meeting, with management preparing to tell them trading in the year to date remained in line with expectations.

The AIM-traded firm had seen 21% like-for-like growth in system sales in the first quarter, with eight new stores opened to-date in 2017.

DP Poland now had 43 stores in 16 towns and cities, and a pipeline of more store openings for 2017 and 2018.

A new commissary was also under construction.

“2017 has started positively with 21% like-for-like system sales growth in the first quarter,” commented chief executive Peter Shaw.

“We have opened eight stores to date in 2017 - an unprecedented number in just over four months.

“We are continuing to identify a strong pipeline of store locations for further openings in 2017 and into 2018.”
