Quixant, Ainsworth extend relationship for five years

Specialised computing platform provider Quixant announced the signing of a multi-year contract on Monday, with gaming solutions manufacturer Ainsworth Game Technology.

The AIM-traded firm said that under the terms of the deal, Quixant will supply Ainsworth with new generation computing platforms for its gaming machines, securing the relationship for a further five years to 2021.

Ainsworth is an existing Quixant customer, with a relationship stemming back to 2007.

“We are delighted that we will be continuing our relationship with Ainsworth for at least another five years,” said Quixant CEO Nick Jarmany.

“Ainsworth is known for its high performing gaming machines and we are proud to continue to be their exclusive supplier of computer gaming platforms.”

Vince Bruzzese, general manager of research and development at Ainsworth, also expressed his pleasure at the continuing relationship.

“Ainsworth and Quixant have enjoyed a strong and fruitful partnership over several years,” he commented.

At 1035 BST, shares in Quixant were down 1.14% at 216.5p, while shares in Ainsworth were down 0.42% to AUD 2.39 at close in Sydney on Monday, before the news was announced.
