RA International appointed to two contracts with Cherokee Nation
Remote site service provider RA International has been appointed as a teaming partner on two contracts by Cherokee Nation Mechanical, part of the Oklahoma-based, tribally-owned Cherokee Nation Businesses.
The AIM-traded firm said it was selected to work with Cherokee Nation on two contracts providing construction related support services for the US Department of State in the Middle East and in East Asia.
Both contracts were expected to begin this year, subject to travel restrictions.
Details of the term and value of the contracts would be confirmed in due course, the board said, once site visits had been conducted and final contracts agreed.
“These contract awards build on the excellent relationship we have with Cherokee Nation in supporting the US Department of State, and demonstrates our customer led growth strategy in action,” said chief executive officer Soraya Narfeldt.
“We started working with Cherokee in East Africa in 2019 and, building on this success, we are delighted to partner with them on these two landmark projects.
“This is an important milestone for RA International that underlines both our reputation as a trusted partner for managing and delivering large, complex projects and how we are diversifying the geography of our activity.”
RA International said it would announce its audited results for the year ended 31 December on 30 March.
At 1520 GMT, shares in RA International were down 3.92% at 49p.
