Rambler Metals names Sanjay Swarup as CFO

Mining and development company Rambler Metals and Mining appointed Sanjay Swarup to the position of chief financial officer on Wednesday, effective immediately.
Swarup will replace previous CFO Tim Slater, who will assess with the transition of responsibilities before departing the group to pursue other interests.
The AIM-listed outfit's new head of finance has over 25-years experience in accounting and business consulting, with 15 of those years spent in the resource industry at a range of businesses such as BP, Mandalay Resources and Lonmin.
Chairman Brad Mills said: "The board is looking forward to working with the new management of Rambler to achieve its operational and financial goals over the coming year.
"I would like to thank Mr Slater for his significant contribution to Rambler over the years."
As of 1200 GMT, Rambler shares had shot up 12.90% to 1.75p.
