RedstoneConnect, an AIM-listed provider of technology and services for smart buildings and commercial spaces, has won a multi-year contract for the design, installation and management of an In-Building Cellular (IBC) solution at the new London headquarters of a leading global technology company specialising in internet-related services.

The IBC solution will provide high quality mobile connection across any network for all staff as well as visitors to the customers’ offices.

The multi-million pound contract will be delivered in stages with the initial installation phase due for completion in March 2017 and a subsequent roll-out over the next two years.

The solution uses CrossFire technology, of which the company is the exclusive distributor, that will enable the customer to provide the same service across its additional office locations within a 70 km radius while housing the mobile network operator equipment in the original location.

Chief executive Mark Braund said: “This contract is a further clear endorsement of RedstoneConnect's ability to innovate on behalf of our clients and we are delighted to be working alongside one of the leading and best known technology businesses in the world.”

The share price rose 7.72% to 1.53p at 0931 GMT on Monday.
