Renewables Infrastructure Group plans to raise more funds

Renewables Infrastructure Group unveiled plans to raise further funds from its equity placing programme.
The fundraising, expected to be completed early next month, will comprise of the placing of shares, with further details on the pricing and the planned amount raised to be given in due course, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
The group launched a placing programme in December last year, with approximately up to 16m shares still available for issue.
Meanwhile, the London-listed company added it will not be affected by potential reforms in the UK in response to international changes made to Base Erosion and Profit Shifting tax treatment.
Renewable Infrastructure shares were down 1.84% to 7.47p at 0958 GMT on Tuesday.
