Scotgold Resources confirmed on Friday that it has now ceased trading on the ASX, and that it was delisted from the ASX official list at 1600 AEST in Sydney.

The AIM-traded firm said no change will occur to the quotation and trading of Scotgold in London, and its securities will remain tradable as Depository Interests on AIM under the code SGZ.

“Holders of Scotgold securities which have not yet been registered as DIs may continue to hold the securities in certificated form, but they will not be publicly tradeable until registered,” the board said in a statement.

“Australian shareholders remain entitled to transfer any such shares to DIs to be traded on AIM.”

Scotgold said detailed instructions on the options available to Australian shareholders were contained in a letter sent previously, and will continue to be available through the company's website.
