From video-based car dealerships to 'smart' opticians, MediaZest was celebrating its successes on Friday.

The AIM-listed creative media agency updated the market about ongoing and new business, saying it had secured "material additional contracts" since the last update in October.

Its biggest recent project was the completion of the second Hyundai Rockar dealership at the Westfield Stratford shopping centre in East London, which was being operated in the same way as the dealership at Bluewater in Kent.

The showroom featured five large-scale video walls and 14 interactive touchscreens, which allowed customers to customise and purchase their chosen Hyundai vehicle.

"MediaZest were responsible for system specification, build and installation works including in store audio and content management, with ongoing support and maintenance contracts in place", said CEO Geoff Robertson.

The company also announced it had begun a partnership with SpecSavers, initially designing and producing a concept 'Smart Store' for the group's annual franchisee conference in Birmingham in November, before installing the same solutions in the SpecSavers head office.

In other work, the group supplied systems for new concept Post Office stores, worked with Swedish-Australian stationery retailer Kikki.K on their first two UK stores, as well as continuing contracts with Adidas, Belstaff, HMV and Kuoni.

"2015 has ended on a real high note for the company, with a large number of highly innovative and substantial projects all completing successfully", said Robertson.

"Many of these projects will continue and develop further into 2016 and beyond."

At 12:25 GMT, shares in MediaZest were up 14.29% to 0.16p.
