Smartspace wins £1.25m contract with 'world class' events organiser

Smartspace Software on Wednesday won a £1.25m contract to deploy its event management software platform to a "world-class leader of experience days in the UK".

The five-year contract, which is inclusive of support and maintenance, will see the the SaaS-based technology business provide a platform that includes software for ticketing management, event management and analytics for a number of "iconic" UK events.

This platform will be delivered in the AIM traded company's current financial year to 31 January 2019, with a period of configuration in the first half of calendar year 2019.

Smartspace specialises in software that assistance for the workspace, retail and hospitality industries aims to transform employee and customer engagement with modules that include desk management, meeting room management, wayfinding, car parking, visitor management, frictionless vending, ticketing, loyalty management and analytics.

Smartspace Software's shares were up 3.95% at 92.00p at 1629 GMT.
