Stratex reported on Wednesday that Thani Stratex Resources, in which it holds a 30.4% interest, recently announced further drill results for its Anbat Project in Egypt.

The AIM-traded firm said the highlights included 227 g/t Au over 1.25 m from 128 m and 4.85 m at 1.99 g/t Au from 99.15 m on TDAND-04, and 32.35 m at 1.48 g/t Au incl. 18.2 m grading 2.25 g/t Au from 100.8 m on TDAND-05.

It also said additional flat-lying gold zones had been confirmed.

“Holes TDAND-003, -004 and -005 have confirmed the newly-interpreted geometry of a near-surface, flat-lying gold-mineralised zone to the east side of an identified mineralised intrusion, with visible gold observed in holes TDAND-004, 100 m to the west of TDAND-001, and TDAND-005, 50 m south of TDAND-001,” the board explained in a statement.

“The drilling has also identified additional deeper flat-lying zones of mineralisation.”

Thani Stratex drilled one final hole in the current programme, TDAND-07, 300 m northwest of TDAND-05, for which results were awaited, Stratex added.
