Synectics announced a major contract win on Wednesday, with its subsidiary Synectics Systems Asia being awarded a multi-million pound deal to supply a large surveillance system for a new casino resort in the Philippines.
The AIM-traded surveillance technology firm said the system, which was designed around its Synergy 3 command-and-control platform, would monitor and record high-definition video from more than 5,000 IP cameras covering the 100-acre mega-resort in Manila.
"This is another significant contract win for Synectics which underlines the strength of our credentials in Asia, and highlights our position as the preferred choice of the premier gaming operators in the region," said chief executive Paul Webb.
The Synectics solution would also integrate live and recorded video with alarm transactional data from slot machines, point-of-sale registers, access control points and other third party systems for multi-layered property-wide security.
It was scheduled to be installed during 2016, in advance of the first phase opening of the resort at the end of the calendar year.
