Synectics wins £800,000 contract with 'major UK utility provider'
Security and surveillance systems business Synectics has been awarded an £800,000 contract with a new customer to deliver a multi-site deployment of its proprietary software platform, Synergy.
Synectics said the contract, which was with "a major UK utility provider", will be deployed in its current financial year and see Synergy rolled out across the client's main command and control centre, centralising feeds from numerous disparate locations throughout the network into one simple interface.
The AIM-listed group highlighted that Synergy's open architecture allows configuration to the exacting requirements of each individual customer. Furthermore, Synergy incorporates third-party solutions into its platform, ensuring customers continue to benefit from leading solutions as technologies develop and evolve.
Chief executive Paul Webb said: "We are delighted to have secured this new contract. The flexibility of our software ensures that we can deliver a system that is tailored to each customer, enabling us to deliver sector-specific solutions. We look forward to working with this new customer to streamline and optimise their command and control functionality."
