Energy company Tlou Energy said the Botswana earthquake yesterday had resulted in no reported damage at this stage to the field camp, production testing and monitoring operations at its Lesedi project.

The shaker hit 6.5 in a preliminary Richter Scale reading, and its epicentre was in a region close to the Lesedi project area.

On Monday, Tlou said renewal applications for three key prospecting licences at Lesedi were approved by Botswana's Ministry of Minerals, Energy and Water Resources. They were renewed for a further two-year term to 31 March 2019.

At 14:34 GMT, shares in AIM-traded Tlou were flat at 6.25p each.
