TP Group added to MOD supplier framework

Specialist services and engineering company TP Group announced on Thursday that it had been awarded listing on the ‘Multi-Participant Framework Agreement’ for technical support (FATS/5).
The AIM-traded firm said the framework provided the Ministry of Defence (MOD), including Defence Equipment and Support (DE&S), Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl), and other government departments, with a route to market to competitively contract technical support through pre-qualified suppliers.
It said the framework covered research-based technical studies as well as project-based technical and engineering support and consultancy.
TP Group said it has access to a specialised group of both small and medium enterprises and subject matter experts, all of whom already deliver into the MOD, providing the “most efficient” access to industry Suitably Qualified and Experienced Personnel (SQEP) with tailored governance and a “minimum of bureaucracy”.
“We are very pleased to join the FATS/5 services framework for the MOD,” said TP Group CEO Phil Cartmell.
“It places us at the front line of advanced services in the UK Defence sector and underpins our strategy to develop and broaden our services and engineering capabilities in this sector.”
