Tribal signs first two customers to new 'Admissions' module
Education software and services company Tribal announced the signing of the first two customers to its newly-launched cloud-based ‘Tribal Admissions’ module on Wednesday, marking further momentum against its cloud strategy.
The AIM-traded firm said the contract wins gave it confidence in achieving its growth aspirations for 2021 and beyond.
It said Tribal Admissions was the first significant module on the ‘Edge’ platform, which could be integrated with the SITS Student Management System, or any other similar system.
The Admissions contracts were with Aberystwyth University, an existing Tribal customer using the ‘Dynamics’ solution, and the University of the Creative Arts, an existing SITS customer.
Following early releases of Tribal Admissions in December and April, the fully-expanded solution would be launched at the group's ‘Empower’ higher education conference later in the week.
Tribal said trading was still positive, as it flagged at its annual general meeting in April, with the company continuing to trade in line with the board's expectations.
“I am delighted to announce our first two wins for Tribal Admissions, with our long-standing customers, Aberystwyth University and the University of the Creative Arts,” said chief executive officer Mark Pickett.
“These wins are endorsements of our strategy, to transform the company and its products through Edge, an ecosystem of student centric best of breed, software-as-a-service products which will support educational institutions across the world in delivering successful outcomes for their students.”
Tribal said it would announce its results for the six months ended 30 June, on 12 August.
At 1530 BST, shares in Tribal Group were up 2.97% at 104p.
