ULS Technology appoints managing director to recently acquired Legal Eye

ULS Technology has appointed Paul Saunders as managing director of its wholly owned compliance subsidiary Legal Eye.

ULS, which provides online B2B platforms for the UK conveyancing and financial intermediary markets, said Saunders will join the Legal Eye team around 7 November 2016. Saunders will leave his current role as a partner at law firm Shakespeare Martineau LLP.

ULS bought Legal Eye last year to help it grow its share of conveyancing work with mortgage lenders .

“As a result, ULS is winning new conveyancing agreements with lenders and is benefiting from a clear competitive advantage in this sector, where lenders are now required to hold an increased level of knowledge about their third party relationships, under the Financial Conduct Authority's regulatory regime and its general outsourcing requirements rules,” the company said.
