Online conveyancing and financial intermediary business-to-business platform provider ULS Technology announced the launch of a new conveyancing service developed for Metro Bank on Monday.

The AIM-traded company said it has been awarded a three-year contract to provide the bank's customers with conveyancing services, which had been tailored specifically to meet Metro Bank's requirements for customer service excellence.

It said Metro Bank was established to provide retail, business and private banking customers with “unparalleled levels” of service and convenience.

Since its launch just over seven years ago, it has attracted more than 1.1 million customer accounts, opened 54 stores and had grown its colleague base to more than 2,900.

It was widely recognised for its superior customer experience, the ULS board claimed, and was named Moneywise's ‘Most Trusted Financial Provider’ for the last two years.

“We are all delighted to have been awarded this agreement, under which we have built a tailored suite of conveyancing technology led services to support Metro Bank,” said ULS CEO Ben Thompson.

“We fully understand what the bank has successfully been doing over the last seven years or so, and intend to directly help them to continue, if not better, the industry leading levels of service they have been offering to their borrowers since launch.”

Thompson said the company was “very much” looking forward to evolving its conveyancing-related technology with Metro Bank, and exploring how impactful it could be on overall customer experience, to the direct benefit of the bank and its mortgage borrowers.

“As we move into the second half of the current financial year, we will continue to explore and develop ways to enhance customer satisfaction and accelerate the conveyancing experience to give mortgage borrowers and home movers improved customer experience and outcomes.

“This is an exciting time for the whole sector as technology-led solutions, such as ours, demonstrate how they can tangibly improve how conveyancing and the wider home moving process is carried out.”
