Vast Resources reports progress on Baita Plai

Vast Resources updated the market on progress at its Baita Plai Polymetallic Mine in Romania on Monday, confirming that the first shipment of equipment has arrived in country, at the Port of Constanta.
The AIM-traded company said the equipment, which includes railway tracks and locomotives, was currently being loaded onto trucks for transport to Baita Plai, around 500 miles from the port.
It said the shipping schedules of the remaining containers of equipment remained on track.
“The first two shipments contain the integral equipment required to commence production at Baita Plai,” the board said in its statement.
“The company will keep the market informed as the remaining shipments progress and when the equipment arrives at the mine site over the coming days.”
At 1008 BST, shares in Vast Resources were down 2.65% at 0.17p.
