Vipera increases stake in Codd & Date to reorganise delivery operations

Vipera, provider of mobile financial and retail services, has bought a further 7.12% stake in its subsidiary Codd & Date, as part of its plan to reorganise its customer delivery organisation.

The AIM-listed company now holds holds 58.12% interest in Codd & Date.

The consideration for the stake comprises of 1.92m shares issued to Mag14, the vendor, which has also bought from the liquidator of Ammiro Y2K, a further 6.37m shares in Vipera, and acquired 1.39m shares in Vipera from other minority shareholders in Codd & Date, who are increasing their shareholdings in the subsidiary.

The new shares will be admitted to trade on AIM on 25 April, and following admission Vipera will have 260.41m shares in issue.

Shares in Vipera were up 4.76% to 5.50p at 0841 BST.
