Leak detection and remediation technology company Water Intelligence announced another insurance national account win on Monday, its third for the year-to-date.

The AIM-traded firm said water-related claims were one of the largest sources of claims for the insurance market in the United States, adding that its insurance company clients made use of the minimally-invasive water leak detection and repair services provided by its American Leak Detection brand.

It said the win was with one of the “fastest growing” national insurance carriers.

“We are appreciative of the recognition that we are gaining across the United States with homeowners and insurance companies,” said executive chairman Dr Patrick DeSouza.

“We will continue to build on our value proposition of minimally-invasive leak detection and repair and our reputation for excellence in delivering solutions across the United States.

“We seek to capture more and more of the $13bn insurance market for water-related claims.”

At 1454 BST, shares in Water Intelligence were up 4.38% at 929p.
