Digital performance marketing services company XLMedia announced on Monday that wholly-owned subsidiary EDM - trading under the brand name DAUUP - has been granted official status as a “Facebook Marketing Partner”, with specialties in advertising technology and gaming.

The AIM-traded firm acquired DAUUP in September 2014, and described it as a leader in mobile user acquisition technology.

It said Facebook’s marketing partner programme recognises companies who add “significant value” to the social network’s advertiser ecosystem through innovation and service excellence.

Marketing partners are reportedly vetted for capability and expertise, as well as for a solid track record of success.

XLMedia said the recognition provides both new and existing customers with the confidence of knowing they are working alongside a “proven Facebook partner”, as well as highlighting the group's “specific expertise” in mobile campaign management.

“We are delighted to have been named as one of Facebook's Marketing Partners, which gives us further recognition and validation of our technology and expertise,” said XLMedia chief executive Ory Weihs.

“Mobile users have become a significant portion of our target audience.

“We continue to invest in the mobile ad arena and aim to develop more features and capabilities in the near term,” Weihs added.

XLMedia’s board confirmed it expects to issue half year results for the six months to 30 June in September.
