Electra sells off last stake in Hollywood Bowl

Electra Private Equity said it had sold its remaining stake in Hollywood Bowl, the UK's largest ten-pin bowling operator for £40m.

The company said the sale represented a small decrease in Electra's net asset value in the valuation of the investment at 30 September 2016.

Inclusive of proceeds already received, this equates to a total equity return for Electra's investment in Hollywood Bowl of 3.9 times original cost, an investment rate of return of 92%.
