EU regulators give Hinkley Point the go-ahead

Hinkley Point has been given the thumbs up from European Union (EU) regulators.
The Somerset-based plant has been granted permission under state-aid rules, having been given the recommendation of EU competition commissioner Joaquin Almunia.
