RTGS glitch fixed, BoE confirms

The Bank of England has confirmed it is now processing payments through its Real Time Gross Settlement Payment System (RTGS) as normal.

The bank's RTGS system was stopped early on Monday morning after the weekend update left the system vulnerable and the BoE said it has extended its opening hours until 20:00 to maximise the opportunity for settlement.
