European Parliament evacuated in bomb scare

Brussels' European Parliament building has been evacuated amid bomb alerts and the arrest of an armed man.

Belgian police ordered the evacuation following the sighting of a suspicious vehicle in Montoyer Street.

Police deployed a robot to safely investigate the vehicle and have apprehended an armed man in the EU Parliament compound.
