The selling pressure on UK stocks is expected to continue on Friday with markets expected to open with heavy losses.

After a late turnaround on Thursday, which sent the FTSE 100 to its lowest close of the year (6,431.85), city sources say the benchmark index is expected to open around another 75 points lower at 6,356.
