Donald Trump calls Brexit a "great thing"

Donald Trump has said that Britain has made a great decision to leave the European Union in Thursday's referendum.

The presumptive Republican nominee was speaking to reporters at his new golf resort in Scotland.

“They took back their country and that’s a great thing,” Trump tells reporters upon landing at Turnberry resort.

“They’re angry over borders. They’re angry over people coming into the country and taking over, and nobody even knows who they are,” Trump said in response to questions to reporters after his helicopter touched down here. “They’re angry about many, many things.”
