Friday preview: China CPI, UK GDP in focus
Financial markets' focus at the end of the week will shift to China.
Overnight, the National Bureau of Statistics will publish consumer and factory gate price data for June.
Consensus is for annual CPI inflation to be unchanged from May at 1.3% while producer price gains are seen slowing from 9.0% to 8.7%.
Against that backdrop, at 0700 BST the Office for National Statistics will publish gross domestic product data for May which are expected to show that the UK economy grew by 1.2% month-on-month.
Across the Channel, European Central Bank president Christine Lagarde is due to make three speaking appearances, including at the G20 finance ministers meeting being held in Venice, Italy.
No major economic releases are scheduled in the US.
