Friday preview: Consumer confidence, US House vote in focus

The focus in financial markets at the end of the week will be on a raft on consumer confidence surveys due out in the US as well as on the Continent.

Perhaps most important will be a preliminary reading on the University of Michigan's consumer confidence gauge for March, at 1445 GMT.

Comparable survey results are due out in France and Italy at 0745 GMT and 0900 GMT.

Later in the day, in the States, the US House of Representatives will vote on the $2trn economic relief package approved in the Senate two days before.

On home shores, motor vehicle manufacturing data for February are scheduled for release.
