Thursday preview: Euro area money supply, Tokyo CPI in focus

The market spotlight on Thursday will shift back towards the euro and Japan, especially so given that US financial markets will remain closed in observance of the Thanksgiving Day holiday.

In the former, the focus will be on money supply data for the month of October at 0900 GMT, followed by a speech by Bundesbank president Jens Weidmann in the evening, after the close of trading in London.

Also due out are preliminary readings on consumer prices in Spain and Germany at 0800 GMT and 1300 GMT, respectively, and survey readings for Eurozone consumer and industrial confidence in November.

Meanwhile, in Japan, data are due out covering consumer prices in Tokyo during the month of November and unemployment and industrial production figures for October.
