Tuesday preview: Global manufacturing, Fed's Powell in focus

Financial markets' focus at the start of December will continue to be on global manufacturing sector conditions, with surveys covering activity in the US, UK and euro area during the month of November all due out.

Investors will likely also do well to keep an eye on US Federal Reserve chief, Jerome Powell's testimony before the Senate Banking Committee to discuss the CARES act, at 1500 GMT.

Also on home shores, mortgage lander Nationwide will publish its home price index, also for the month of November.

Across the Channel meanwhile, euro area finance ministers will meet to discuss various matters, including administrative cooperation on taxation, strengthening the banking union, and the capital markets union.
