Tuesday preview: US Jolts survey, Saga in focus

The market spotlight on Tuesday would be on the US Department of Labor's JOLTS labour market survey covering the month of February.

Data for job openings and so-called quits derived from that survey sometimes triggered significant moves in asset prices.

The JOLTS report was scheduled for release at 1500 GMT.

Against that backdrop, at 1500 GMT, the Monetary Policy Committee's Silvana Tenreyro was scheduled to deliver a speech at the Scottish Economic Society.

She would be followed at 17.30 by the Bank of England's chief economist, Huw Pill.

Across the Channel, at 1000 GMT Eurostat would publish a report on producer prices for the month of February.

Overnight, rate-setters at the Reserve Bank of Australia were due to announce their latest policy decision.
