AFC Energy directors take part in share offer

Two of AFC Energy’s directors have subscribed in the industrial fuel cell power company’s latest share offer.

The AIM-listed company raised £2.47m last week after it issued over 12.3m new ordinary shares which were subscribed to by existing and other investors.

The company said it plans to offer another 5.6m shares to qualifying shareholders, with the proceeds from both share issues used to complete pre-commissioning activities in relation to Milestone 11.

Non-executive directors Eugene Shvidler and Mitchell Field took part in the subscription, pikcing up just under 580,000 and 250,000 shares respectively.

They now hold 4.77% and 0.96% stakes in the company.
