Berkeley Group non-exec picks up first shares

First Derivatives non-executive director David Anderson offloaded 5,000 shares in the software and consulting firm at 1,541p each.

The sale brought his interest in the company down to 120,000 shares, or 0.5% of the issued share capital.

Elsewhere, Berkeley Group non-executive director Diana Brightmore-Armour made her first purchase, picking up 1,000 shares in the housebuilder at 3,464p each.

Clinical stage drug development firm Evgen Pharma said a group of directors bought 136,000 shares between them at 22.5p each.

Chairman Barry Clare and chief financial officer John Bradshaw bought 40,000 shares each, bringing their total interests to 1.3% and 0.1%, respectively.

Chief executive Stephen Franklin nabbed 56,000 shares, bringing his holding to just under 1.38m, or 1.9%.
