CVS' chief executive pockets £1.7m by selling half of stake

Veterinary services provider CVS Group said its chief executive sold £1.7m worth in shares on Thursday.

Simon Innes, who has been the chief executive in the group since 2004, sold 300,000 shares for 550p each, bringing home a total of £1.665m.

Following the transaction, Innes holds 246,475 remaining shares in the group.

CVS said last month it enjoyed strong half-year results with profits before tax up 61% to £5.2m but warned like-for-like sales were hurt by poor weather conditions.
