Director dealings: Haydale Graphene director lowers stake

Haydale Graphene Industries director Raymond Gibbs sold 80,000 ordinary shares in the global solutions company on Friday.

Gibbs, who runs the AIM-listed outfit's subsidiary Haydale, disposed of the shares in two separate transactions - the first of which saw him offload 64,000 shares at 31.50p per share, while the second him let go of a further 16,000 at 31.85p each.

The director collected a total £25,246 from the sale.

Haydale's Taiwanese HTW operation started to ship commercial quantities of its graphene ink for diabetes test strips back in November.

After year-long trials, sizeable deliveries have now started as part of a 100Kg order from a Taiwanese printer, in what Haydale said is the first time graphene ink has been used in these quantities in this market.

At the time, Gibbs said: "Having now established market acceptance with the supply of commercial volume for a high-quality printer, armed with excellent third-party test results and customer endorsements, we can also see market demand for this high-performance product in Europe and especially the US."

As of 1630 GMT, Handle shares had slipped 5.43% to 30.02p.
