Director dealings: Amryt Pharma chairman makes share purchase

Amryt Pharma revealed on Monday that chairman Ram Stafford had acquired 300,100 ordinary shares in the AIM-listed commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company.

Stafford, who previously headed up Sudocrem owner Tosara Group, purchased the shares on Friday at an average price of 200.0p per share, for a total value of £600,200.

Last week, Amryt announced the signing of a distribution agreement with Medison Pharma to distribute its Myalepta product in Canada.

Amryt said the agreement completed its multi-regional distribution deals with Medison, first announced in February, to distribute Myalepta and Lojuxta in Israel and Juxtapid in Canada.

As of 1645 GMT, Amryt shares were up 3.54% at 205.0p.
